Safety Lights

When walking, running, or biking at night, it can be difficult for others to see you, like people driving cars. This creates a potentially dangerous situation where they could hit you because they didn’t see you in time. Increase your visibility at night with a personal safety light so drivers can see and avoid you.

Safety lights from 6 O’clock Securities are LED and bright enough to alert cars of your presence from far away giving them plenty of time to react. We have a variety of different LED safety lights for you to choose from. If you’re a night runner, try our clip on shoe lights. Our pet safety lights are exactly what you pet needs when you walk together, or let them outside to go to the bathroom, at night. Riding a bicycle is especially dangerous at night, which is why we carry bike safety lights to keep you safe.

Shop our entire selection of personal safety lights for greater visibility at night and the peace of mind that vehicles are aware of your presence.

Over 1.2 million dogs are killed in road accidents every year. Cats killed by road accidents scale up to 5.4 million, and these numbers are in the US alone. Flashing safety lights for dogs are a good way of letting drivers see them as they cross the road. These lights are placed around dog collars. The LED light is strong enough to be noticed, and will prevent road kills from occurring. Pet blinkers are among the most popular variety available.

Personal safety lights work in pretty much the same manner. They can be small flashlights to help you see in darker streets or they could be LED attachments to a phone, such as the LED Cell Phone Flash-Lite. This allows you to have both a phone and an emergency light in one device, making them easier to carry.

Bicycle safety lights are perhaps even more important. Thousands of people get hit by passing cars because they weren’t seen cycling down the road. Dimly lit streets during the early morning or midnight hours are the most dangerous because a lot of drivers feel like they can speed through the highways.

There are generally two types of bicycle safety lights to consider. The first is the standard LED light that works like a car’s headlight and taillight. On their own, they don’t seem like much, but drivers will be warier the moment they see a small moving light up ahead.

Lane lights are the second type of bicycle safety lights. They create an illuminated perimeter around the bike as it moves, making you more visible during the night. Drivers will also have a keener idea of how much road area you need, letting them sway out of the way if they are driving dangerously close to you.

Jogging and cycling after 6pm or night walking with a pet can be quite dangerous because speeding cars may not even see you until you or your pet is hit. With LED safety lights, you can be guaranteed they will notice you at a distance. This gives them all the time needed to sway out of the way.
